POSITION SUMMARY

The Lead Analyst, Equipment Operations supervises the Equipment Operations team, overseeing all functions related to customer support, management, tracking, and administration of physical equipment assets for Surgical Vision. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate equipment records, ensuring compliance with policies and financial reporting requirements, and completing the end-to-end coordination of equipment shipments, transfers, contracts, and disposals. Partnering closely with Commercial Operations, Contracts, Sales, Service, Finance, and commercial leadership, this position drives system data integrity, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to support both operational efficiency and strategic business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Operations, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in Commercial Operations, Finance, Customer Support, or relevant experience is required, preferably within the Medical Device industry.
  • Experience leading teams in cross-functional, fast-paced environments is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management principles, SAP, contract execution, and financial reporting is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage priorities in time-sensitive and complex settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present clearly and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Experience navigating change, ambiguity, and complexity with resilience and adaptability.
  • Prior experience with customer-facing teams and handling shipment logistics is preferred.
  • Up to 10% business travel may be required.
    The anticipated base pay range for this position is $91,000 to $147,200.
    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Equipment Operations team, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all equipment-related activities across various product lines (Cataract, Refractive, Dry Eye).
  • Be responsible for daily transactional processes including equipment shipments, moves, installations, de-installations, and transfers.
  • Lead the equipment evaluation program, including field sales equipment inventory, ensuring program performance and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Lead process improvement opportunities across functions, including the use of WinShuttle.
  • Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date equipment records in SAP and other systems, including asset capitalization, transfers, retirements, and warranty tracking.
  • Lead preowned warehouse operational integration and transformation.
  • Manage all aspects of fixed asset reporting, internal audits, UCC filings, disposal processes, and financial reconciliations related to equipment.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and inventory verification to ensure physical and system data alignment.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies; maintain and update SOPs and work instructions accordingly.
  • Support the Contracts department in processing, entering, and managing agreements related to sales, rental, service, and pricing contracts.
  • Coordinate capital equipment shipments and logistics in partnership with cross-functional teams including Sales, Service, and Customer Service.
  • Assist with contract compliance, issue resolution, and data analysis for management reporting and operational decision-making.
  • Work closely with Commercial Operations, Field Sales, Contracts, Finance, and Service teams to support workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate business issues, risks, and opportunities proactively to the management team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide training and guidance on equipment processes, SAP usage, contract execution, and compliance standards to internal teams.
  • Find opportunities for process optimization and implement standard methodologies to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Manage special projects as assigned, contributing to broader business objectives and initiatives.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.
