Job Description Supports the organization’s data protection and privacy compliance program across APAC.Assist in ensuring that personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and company policies. Works closely with the Global PPAI team to monitor compliance, raise awareness across the organization, and support contract reviews for vendors and clients Responsibilities 1. Data Protection Compliance Monitor and maintain the statutory registrations and filings required in countries, e.g., Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, China, and such other countries where there are registration requirements Support internal compliance reviews Support incident and data breach escalation processes Assist in reviewing privacy notices and consents 2. Data Protection Impact Assessments Support the preparation and recording of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) for new projects or systems involving personal data. Identify potential privacy risks and recommend mitigation measures. 3. Training & Awareness Managing data protection awareness programs and training sessions for NIQ associates globally 4. Review of DPA Assist in reviewing data processing agreements with vendors and clients Monitor third-party compliance with organizational data protection requirements. 5. Data Subject Requests Support handling of data subject access requests (DSARs) and ensure requests are processed within required timelines. 6. Supporting Translations Qualifications IAPP certification, University degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance or relevant field.
