Description
This position sits on the global supply chain finance procurement team and plays a critical role in supporting the global procurement office providing spend analysis and contractual negoiation support to help determine areas of improvement pretaining to cost reductions and improving working capital. Additionally, this role requires the ability to be a financial liaison between Supply Chain and business to ensure alignment and that preferred suppliers/programs are utilized. The analyst will be responsible for delivering on key performance indicators and communicating monthly and annual planning results to key stakeholders. Partner with businesses finance managers and category managers for the profit planning exercise, determining cost out and economic targets, analyzing the pipeline for risks and opportunities, standard template management, generate ideas for gap closure and facilitate profit plan reviews. Provide holistic inputs and commentary of Global Supply Chain for reports including but not limited to actuals package, forecast guidance and ad hoc reports. Prepare complete actual and forecast packages and facilitate business reviews outlining performance against forecast and profit plan clearly outlining the relationship between costs outs/ins vis-a-vis spend. Assume responsibility for Financial Governance through preparation of relevant bowlers and providing additional insights on Supply Chain performance, as well as monitor the KPIs to identify gaps and drive actions. Carry out a comprehensive cost out governance through audits and analysis of top 10 projects crucial to achieve target metrics. Closely interact and collaborate with SCM procurement team as well as the analytics team to develop various models to montior the progress of key initiatives Provide various analytics per specific business needs related to project reviews, saving calculations, approval status, etc. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution 5+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting/Economics Analytics, statistics or understanding of numbers, handling large data Understanding of ERPs, preferrably Oracle ERP Knowledge of MS Excel and other tools like PBI, Tableau, etc. Ability to communicate in English effectively in a professional capacity Strong organizational and time management skills Is passionate, accountable, efficient, ethical, transparent, and focused on continuous learning.
