Job Description Analytical Biochemist Group Leader responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervise others in performing client’s service requirements Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements Foster motivation and morale Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT Prepare and review job plans, conduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growth Coach and develop individuals and team to maximize performance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or other related degree concentration or equivalent directly-related experience BS, 6-8 yrs exp; MS, 4-6 yrs exp; PhD, 0-2 yrs with leadership experience Analytical laboratory skills. Experience with the following: HPLC, UHPLC, and CE Collaborative personality and acute attention to detail. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good verbal communication, organization, presentation, and technical writing skills. Additional Information The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
