Position: Lead Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client, a well-established international Engineering Consultancy firm in Abu Dhabi, is looking to hire a highly skilled Lead Architect with strong experience with multi use buildings / high rises and also infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate must come from a consulting background and should have prior experience working with government clients in the UAE.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Architecture.
· 10 to 15 years of experience in related field working within a consultancy
· Proven experience managing design teams for both building and infrastructure projects.
· Strong portfolio of projects delivered for government clients such as municipalities, housing authorities, or aviation/public infrastructure sectors.
· Proficiency in design and coordination tools (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Navisworks, etc.) and project management software. REVIT is a must and technical aspected will be tested in the interview.
· Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Excellent communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED30,000.00 - AED34,000.00 per month
Application Question(s):
· Reports to the Operations / CEO and liaises with the CM/DCU and all the Heads of Departments. Develop, implements, and controls the Drawing and Review Procedures.
· Lead, coordinate, and manage multi-disciplinary design teams to ensure high-quality project delivery in line with client requirements.
· Manage the design process from concept to IFC (Issued for Construction) stage across architectural, civil, MEP, and infrastructure disciplines.
· Coordinate design changes into the Design.
· Review and reports KPIs related to Design.
· Manage planning, organization, and process delivery of all design related activities.
· Responsible for the elevation of issues that cannot be resolved at the package level for review and resolution with the Employer.
· Responsible for reporting impacts on Program of any design change works required.
· Review and assist in coordinating MEP and Structural drawings with all team members prior to issuing it to client / Bid / permit / construction.
· Ensure design standards are maintained in all architectural details.
· Manage, assist, and develop consultants including MEP, permit expeditors and architects.
· Assist in development and updates to design standard guidelines.
