THE ROLE

As a Lead Architect, you will act as the Frontend Transformation Lead for one of our most critical product lines: Atoss Time Control (ATC). Your mission is to guide the architectural evolution of our frontend across web and mobile, leveraging Flutter, embedding AI and analytics, and driving our shift to a cloud-native environment on Microsoft Azure.
You will also shape the future of a highly successful on-premise solution—modernizing it into a modular, service-oriented product built for scale and speed. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with strong technical visibility across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Architect and drive the implementation of a Flutter-based frontend across web and mobile platforms.
  • Lead the transformation of a mature product from legacy on-prem to a cloud-native, service-oriented architecture.
  • Embed AI capabilities and analytics into the product to elevate user experience and business insight.
  • Architecturally guide four cross-functional agile teams across multiple locations in Germany and Romania.
  • Collaborate with product, design, backend, cloud, and data teams to deliver cohesive, scalable functionality.
  • Align development with Microsoft Azure cloud-native best practices, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
  • Be a technical sparring partner for internal stakeholders such as CloudOps, Professional Services, and Customer Support.
  • Mentor and develop frontend engineers, fostering high standards in code quality, performance, and UX.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends, continuously improving our product and engineering processes.
