3-7 years of prior experience in handling US end to end payroll. (Should have understanding of: State Tax calculation, W2 testing, 401K, Salary Variance etc..) Candidate should have had experience in collecting, preparing and reviewing payroll data from end to end and not processing payroll through a third party vendor Adequate knowledge on personal Federal, State and allied US taxes Knowledge of basic Journal entries and managing accrual entries of payroll related expenses Managing employee emails, client queries and coordinating with third party vendors Expertise on MS Excel with formulas such as vlookup, countifs, sumifs and nested ifs Hands on experience in Workday is an added advantage Experience in handling foreign clients Logical reasoning, smart work, attention to detail and self-learning are some key attributes to the role Candidate needs to leverage tools like Excel, Workday and other techniques to automate the existing payroll process.
