Job Description The Lead Associate will lead from the front: executing work, coaching the team, and acting as the primary point of contact for onshore stakeholders and client payment teams. This role balances hands-on delivery with people leadership and expectation management to ensure high-quality, compliant, and timely payment processes.People responsibilities (what the role will do day-to-day):• Lead by example: perform complex or high priority tasks and model high work ethic, attention to detail and ownership.• Team training & enablement: develop and deliver onboarding and ongoing training materials (knowledge documents, SOP summaries, job aids), and ensure team members can operate independently.• Foster collaboration: create an open environment for knowledge-sharing, run team huddles, and ensure alignment to team objectives.• Stakeholder-facing leadership: act as primary liaison for key onshore/client stakeholders; manage expectations, provide proactive status updates, and handle escalations with diplomacy.• Behavioural qualities: demonstrate proactive problem solving, resilience under pressure, strong facilitation and communication skills, and the ability to see and communicate the ‘big picture’.• Team culture & retention: support employee engagement and help identify development pathways; escalate staffing or capability gaps to management with proposed solutions.Process & delivery responsibilities: • P2P process ownership: coach and mentor the team on end-to-end P2P workflows, ensuring compliance with SOPs and quality controls.• Stakeholder communication: maintain regular communication with client payment teams and onshore partners to clarify requirements, align priorities and close open issues.• Request coordination: manage and prioritise requests routed from Hub Project Coordinators, allocating work effectively to meet SLAs.• Quality assurance: ensure accuracy of deliverables, enforce adherence to SOPs, update quality logs, and conduct spot checks/reviews.• Reporting & monitoring: support monthly management monitoring of the HCP Hub by tracking request volumes, cycle times, errors and delivery metrics.• Continuous improvement: surface process inefficiencies and propose practical improvements; introduce best practices and ensure adoption across the team, especially during peak periods.• Domain expertise & insights: build deep domain knowledge to generate actionable insights for stakeholders and improve payment compliance.• Analytics & dashboards: create and maintain dashboards (operational and ad-hoc pricing/strategic projects) and provide recommendations based on data trends. Qualifications • Previous experience in finance-related processes, with a track record of identifying issues and driving timely, effective resolutions.• Hands-on experience with Cerner/CERPS (P2P) module processes preferred.• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess process implications, detect exceptions, and escalate noncompliance proactively.• Comfortable managing multiple priorities while adhering to established procedures and controls.• Quick to understand business requirements and consistently deliver work that aligns with stakeholder expectations.• Self-motivated and eager to learn; adaptable to change, able to work independently, and meet tight deadlines
