Job Description As our Treasury Accountant, you will be the guardian of our statutory and regulatory payments, ensuring that obligations such as taxes, customs duties, and other statutory fees are processed flawlessly. Your meticulous attention to detail will safeguard our compliance, strengthen our vendor and regulatory relationships, and keep our financial operations running smoothly. What You'll Do • Process statutory payments, including taxes, social contributions, and other government-mandated fees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Manage customs duty payments and related documentation to support import/export compliance. • Prepare and post journal entries for treasury-related transactions, ensuring proper account coding and reconciliation. • Handle payment confirmation inquiries from internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders, providing clear and timely responses. • Maintain accurate records of all treasury transactions for audit and reporting purposes. • Collaborate with the finance and procurement teams to ensure payment schedules align with operational needs. • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to treasury operations. What You'll Bring • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience in treasury, accounts payable, or general accounting roles. • Strong knowledge of statutory payment processes, customs duty regulations, and journal entry preparation. • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. • Clear communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
