Purpose of the role: As the face of BSI, the role of the Lead Auditor (Client Manager) is to work closely with BSI clients to help them improve their performance by assessing their systems and processes against BSI standards. At the end of each assessment the Client Manager compiles a business report and presents this to the client. Location: Milan or the surrounding areas Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Prepare assessment reports and present the results to clients to ensure that they understand the assessment decision and are clearly advised towards specific items of corrective action where appropriate. Undertake management system assessments in accordance with BSI requirements Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations in accordance with BSI policy, procedures and timescales. Ensure that continuity is maintained and that effective working relationships are maintained with clients and within the team. To provide accurate and timely information to support departments, working closely with these departments to ensure that customer records are up to date, complete and that all other internal information requirements are met. Establish and develop an effective partnership that secures the business relationship and encourages opportunities for business development and increased customer satisfaction within your portfolio. To be successful in the role: Third-party audit experience (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 – EMS, QMS, OHSAS) with required audit logs LAC (lead auditor course) for QMS EMS OHSAS Industry experience (min 2-3 years work experience, with involvement in the management system) in the required industry sector Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent presentation skills Willing to travel Available from March 2026 #LI-MC1 #LI-HYBRID About Us BSI is a business improvement and standards company and for over a century BSI has been recognized for having a positive impact on organizations and society, building trust and enhancing lives.
