About the Role We’re seeking a Lead Automation Engineer to take ownership of API and integration automation across a complex enterprise technology landscape. This role will suit someone who is highly technical, hands-on, and comfortable operating across multiple up and downstream systems. You’ll be leading automation initiatives, validating integrations end-to-end, and ensuring regression coverage across releases and updates. Strong experience with TypeScript (or similar) and Playwright is essential. What You’ll Do Review technical requirements and system configurations (including Dayforce where applicable) Design, create and execute automated test cases across APIs and integrated systems Lead integration and end-to-end testing across complex upstream and downstream environments Build and maintain automation frameworks using TypeScript and Playwright Support UAT by providing scripts, training and defect triage assistance Conduct regression testing across updates and releases Document test plans, scenarios and results clearly for stakeholders Log, track, retest and manage defects through to resolution Drive automation best practices and uplift overall test maturity What We’re Looking For Excellent experience in API and APIM testing Strong background in integration testing across complex system landscapes Proven hands-on experience in automation using TypeScript (or similar) Strong experience with Playwright Demonstrated experience automating across an end-to-end technology stack Ability to work closely with developers, business analysts and product teams Strong documentation and defect management skills Desirable Experience working with HCM platforms (Dayforce preferred) Exposure to enterprise HR / Payroll systems Experience in Agile delivery environments Why Join NRI Planit?
