Job Details Job Location: Mechanicsburg - Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 Position Type: Full Time Job Category: Automotive Summary of the Position Responsible assisting store management with supervising Automotive Technician Trainees. Supervises, directs, and motivates associates to execute timely and error-free tire and automotive services following established company policies and procedures. Assists in controlling supply expenses by conducting cycle counts and placing supply orders. Key Essential Responsibilities Performs tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance services, and multi-point inspections, notating condition that exist on vehicles, following established processes and procedures. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment. Maintain service department, per housekeeping and safety standards, providing a safe and clean working environment. Helps with unloading/ loading of trucks and warehouse duties. Delegate and follow up on tasks assigned to ATT’s. Inventory stores supplies and orders as needed through approved programs. Daily/Weekly/Monthly maintenance of PM equipment. Cycle count of tires monthly. All other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Experience/Education/Other Requirements High school diploma or equivalent At least 18 years of age Have a valid drivers’ license, acceptable driving history and access to reliable transportation Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs., often repetitively Must be able to adapt to severe climate variances Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a professional manner. 2 Years of Automotive Preventive Maintenance experience.
