Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly driven and commercially astute B2B Business Development Leader to spearhead market expansion and strategic growth across European pharmaceutical markets. The role focuses on generic pharmaceuticals and will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, managing strategic partnerships, and driving tender-based sales in both public and private sectors.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Regulatory, R&D, Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance to deliver profitable growth and long-term market share.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute market entry strategies for European markets, including product registration, pricing, and partner selection.
  • Lead strategic expansion plans and build a 5-year commercial roadmap with P&L targets.
  • Monitor competitive landscape, pricing trends, and tender opportunities to shape the product portfolio.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with B2B partners, including distributors, marketing authorisation holders, and institutional buyers.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals, including licensing, supply, and co-development agreements.
  • Design and implement tender strategies for government and institutional segments to secure large contracts.
  • Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring timely execution of business initiatives.
  • Provide regular business performance updates to senior leadership.
