We believe that enabling a new mode of commerce (trading) will 5x that market size 100,000 users and growing with bootstrapped profitability Founded in 2021 On web, android, iOS Team size: 18 (8 engineers/product, 10 ops) Headquarters: Palo Alto, CA Responsibilities -Write clean code in Typescript using NextJS as the framework. -Architect database schemas for PostgreSQL database to efficiently store large amounts of data. -Be involved in conversations surrounding product and strategy. -A solid understanding of security, scalability, and efficiency for backend infrastructure. -Understanding of REST API's. -Hands-on experience with GitHub (pull requests, branches, commits...). Must Haves: -Leadership experience, leading a team of 3+ engineers -Backend experience using NestJS: 4 years+ -PostgreSQL: 4 years+ -Typescript: 3 years+ -Google Cloud Run, Google Cloud SQL, GCP: 2 years+ -Direct work experience with Product Managers/UX Designers
Responsibilities
The Lead Backend Engineer will write clean code in Typescript using NextJS and architect database schemas for a PostgreSQL database. They will also engage in product and strategy discussions while ensuring backend infrastructure is secure, scalable, and efficient.
