This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2000000 - Rs 4000000 (ie INR 20-40 LPA) Min Experience: 6 years Location: Remote (India) JobType: full-time Requirements 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend engineering, including designing and operating fault-tolerant, highly scalable systems. Strong expertise in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous job processing. Extensive experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including handling complex and time-series/temporal data models. Proven ability to architect and deliver high-performance, production-grade web applications at scale. Solid understanding of software design principles, API design, and microservices architecture in multi-tenant environments. Experience leading technical architecture discussions, making critical engineering decisions, and mentoring backend engineers. Strong exposure to code quality best practices, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling optimization. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with clear, collaborative communication across cross-functional teams. Working knowledge of modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular to support full-stack collaboration when required.
