PURPOSE This position will lead the front-of-house team by ensuring exceptional quality in food, beverage, and service while maintaining cleanliness and operational standards, and elevating the guest experience. This role involves fostering a culture of superior guest service, managing performance, ensuring adherence to policies, and maintaining accurate records for personnel, sales, and labor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Knowledge & Expertise: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of positions, policies, and procedures, mentor team members and step in to support as needed. Cash Handling Oversight: Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring the accurate operation of the point-of-sale system, managing cash, and making change as necessary. Guest Communication: Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally, in line with department policies. Internal Communication: Maintain effective communication with Team Members through memos, bulletin boards, shift reports, and meetings. Training & Certification: Train new baristas and offer feedback to ensure proper techniques, customer service, and product knowledge. Policy Adherence: Monitor staff compliance with department policies, including confidentiality, POS transactions, cash handling, sales labor reporting, and product up-selling. Additional Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Education and Experience: One (1) year of Barista experience. Skills and Abilities: Training: Strong knowledge of policies and procedures, with the ability to mentor, train new team members, and provide constructive feedback. Cash Handling & Financial Oversight: Proficient in overseeing cash handling processes and ensuring accurate POS system operations and transactions. Guest Service & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to address guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly, maintaining professionalism. Policy Enforcement & Compliance: Ability to monitor and enforce adherence to department policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Team Collaboration & Flexibility: Effective communicator, able to work well with team members and adapt to additional duties as needed to support operations. PREFERRED Education and Experience: Experience in a high-volume a la carte venue. Experience in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and POS. Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
