This role requires a hands-on professional with prior experience managing inventory and product storage, including ordering, organization, and cost awareness. The Lead Bartender will spend dedicated kitchen prep time preparing house-made mixers and modifiers for both cocktails and mocktails, ensuring consistency and quality. The position also supports bar leadership by assisting with scheduling, training, and guiding a team of bartenders, while maintaining a high standard of service. Strong attention to detail is essential, along with a commitment to cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented bartender who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in operational excellence as well as craft. Basin Harbor has multiple dining venues, 2 outdoor bars, and many banquets, weddings, and special events during our six-month season. We are seeking an energetic, personable, and engaging Lead Bartender, who can lead our Bartending team in wine and beverage knowledge and preparation. Requirements Prior bartending experience of 5+ years required. Some essential competencies are: Understanding the need for proper etiquette and service standards, able to take direction and work in a team environment, attention to detail, efficient, and able to perform multiple tasks systematically in a fast-paced environment, ability to remember and follow bar and beverage procedures, a clean, well kept, professional appearance. As well, shift work may be long and varied, evening and weekends, required full shift walking and standing. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 20+ lbs. frequently throughout shift. Basin Harbor conducts pre-employment criminal background and reference checks on all employees.
