Description Lead Bartender Èlephante – Scottsdale, AZ $16.00 per hour + tips (bar shifts) / $18.00 per hour (admin shifts) Èlephante is seeking an experienced and driven Lead Bartender to join our team in Scottsdale. Èlephante is a coastal Italian restaurant known for its elevated dining experience, vibrant atmosphere, and high-energy bar program. Our bar is a central part of the guest experience, requiring strong execution, consistency, and leadership in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Lead Bartender plays a key role in both executing service at a high level and supporting bar operations, working closely with management to maintain standards, train team members, and ensure overall bar performance. We are looking for a polished, confident leader behind the bar who thrives under pressure and is passionate about hospitality, team development, and operational excellence. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of bartending experience in high-volume restaurants or bars Previous lead bartender or supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and bar operations Experience in upscale or high-energy dining environments Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and stay composed during busy service Professional, polished, and guest-focused demeanor Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Responsibilities Lead by example during service, delivering high-level bar execution and guest experience Support bar operations, including setup, organization, and standards maintenance Train and mentor bartenders and barbacks Assist with scheduling, inventory, and ordering as directed by management Maintain consistency in cocktail preparation, presentation, and service standards Ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all bar areas Communicate effectively with management and team members to ensure smooth operations Support administrative tasks during designated non-tipped shifts Compensation & Benefits $16.00 per hour + tips during service shifts (tip pool eligible) $18.00 per hour during administrative shifts (non-tipped) Flexible scheduling Opportunities for growth within a growing hospitality group Employee dining benefits Join a team that prides itself on high-level hospitality, strong leadership, and delivering an exceptional bar experience in a high-energy environment.
