Description Lucky Dog Bark & Brew is looking for a professional, high-energy and experienced bartender to lead and support the bar team at our dog-friendly establishment! Our bars include indoor and outdoor dog-friendly spaces so loving dogs is a MUST. Our ideal candidate should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable, with the experience necessary to guide the other bartenders in our team. Lead Bartender Responsibilities: Leading and supporting our bartenders during their shifts, ensuring smooth operations, monitoring workflow, and providing/supporting excellent customer service; open and close the bar and take the lead throughout each shift Acting as a point of contact for any issues during shifts; handling guest complaints or difficult situations with professionalism and communicating issues or concerns to the area manager Contributing/assisting with scheduling and ordering Assisting in the management of parties and events Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders. Treating all guests—patron and pups alike—with dignity and respect in all interactions. Informing customers about new beverages and specials. Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers. Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol. Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations. Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register. Maintaining a clean work area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment; making sure bar and dog yards meet the highest standards for sanitation and safety Requirements Requirements Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers following company recipes and presentation standards. Supervise and support bartenders during shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient bar operations. Train, mentor, and onboard new bartenders to ensure consistency and high service standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning bar tools and surfaces. Manage inventory levels; helping the manager with orders and receive bar supplies as needed. Enforce all safety, health, and hygiene policies and procedures. Monitor bar opening and closing duties to ensure standards are met. Provide exceptional customer service; resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with management to develop new cocktails and seasonal drink menus and events. Ensure compliance with all local and state liquor laws and company policies. Conduct regular bar inspections and quality checks.
