QUALIFICATIONS

  • Background in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering (battery design experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
  • Understanding of battery chemistries, charging systems, and PCB integration.
  • Ability to work independently, meet milestones, and communicate effectively.
  • Resourceful and creative problem-solver with a passion for sustainable technology.
Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

As the Lead Battery & Product Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, prototyping, and technical oversight of our next-generation battery products. You will work directly with the CEO and key stakeholders, contributing to product innovation, manufacturing readiness, and specialized use-case adaptations (military, emergency response, sustainability-driven solutions).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Design & CAD
  • Create detailed CAD models and technical drawings for our single-use, rechargeable, and solar-powered battery formats.
  • Prepare manufacturer-ready design files and ensure alignment with production capabilities.
  • Battery Engineering
  • Design and evaluate battery chemistries (LiPo, LiFePO₄, zinc-sulfur, iron-air, etc.) for size, efficiency, safety, and environmental impact.
  • Integrate solar charging and other sustainable power solutions.
  • Optimize for ultra-thin, lightweight form factors without compromising capacity or safety.
  • Application-Specific Adaptations
  • Develop configurations for disaster relief and defense applications (e.g., satellite phone backup systems).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety and military specifications.
  • Collaboration & Communication (Optional)
  • Act as the technical point of contact for investors, partners, and prospective buyers.
  • Translate technical specifications into clear, compelling product information.
  • Innovation & IP Development *
  • Explore new chemistries, form factors, and charging technologies.
  • Propose novel solutions and designs—potential to be named on patents.
