This role is based at our Phoenix Home Office, with an expectation of working a minimum of four days in the office each week. In a standard work week, associates may work up to one remote “flex day” (with leader approval). About the Job This role is responsible for administering employee benefit programs in compliance with plan rules, legal requirements, and internal policies. The position focuses on delivering a strong employee experience through responsive customer service, supporting key initiatives, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Key Responsibilities Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, in alignment with plan documents and company policies Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to employees on benefit offerings and plan details Resolve complex benefit-related issues from employees, vendors, and escalations from HR partners in a timely manner Support benefits orientations, new hire onboarding, and annual open enrollment activities Conduct audits of benefit plans and processes to ensure compliance and identify gaps or improvement opportunities Analyze trends across benefit programs and partner with Benefits leadership to implement solutions Manage monthly invoicing, vendor funding, and reconciliation processes for all group benefit plans Monitor plan spend to ensure alignment with expected financial targets Maintain and update external-facing benefits website content to ensure accuracy and relevance Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data privacy regulations, safeguarding sensitive employee information Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 3+ years of experience in employee benefits, HR operations, or a related field Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefit programs, including health and welfare and/or retirement plans Experience resolving complex employee or vendor issues with a strong customer service orientation Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple processes and deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience analyzing data, identifying trends, and recommending solutions Familiarity with compliance requirements, including HIPAA and benefits regulations Experience working with HRIS systems such as SAP Experience with benefits administration platforms Additional Job Considerations This role requires collaboration, teamwork, and face-to-face interaction with colleagues, leaders, and/or clients.
