Description
We are looking for a Lead Bookkeeper which will be responsible for leading the company's bookkeeping function, managing a team of 3 bookkeepers, and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations across all entities. This role plays a key part in quarterly close processes, internal controls, and scaling financial operations in a growing, international environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage 3 bookkeepers, including task allocation, prioritization, and professional guidance. Responsibility for quarterly close processes, including review of intercompany balances, depreciation, accruals and currency reevaluation. Oversee end-to-end financial reporting up to Trial Balance. Oversee VAT reporting and statutory filings. Oversee payment processes and financial operations, ensuring timely execution, proper authorization, and compliance. Manage the quarter-end and year-end closing processes efficiently and accurately. Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits. Ensure accurate bookkeeping in a multi-currency. Manage relationships with banks and vendors both in Israel and overseas. Requirements Certified Bookkeeper Level 3- a must. Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. High proficiency in Priority ERP - a must. Previous experience in team management - Significant Advantage. Experience in a global high-tech company - Significant Advantage. Advanced Excel skills. High level of English (reading and writing). Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
