Description

ABOUT DSC:

In 2011, we didn’t just disrupt the entire shaving industry; we revolutionized it, shattering conventions with a viral video sensation that became the gold standard for humor in advertising. Our trailblazing direct-to-consumer model didn’t just pave new paths—it bulldozed age old industry giants, minting us as a force to be reckoned with.
Dollar Shave Club crafted not just products, but experiences. We made shaving not suck by cutting out all the unnecessary BS that’s been upsold to guys for decades. We continued to make great f**king blades and also became the geniuses behind tons of dude-centric products like Ball Spray, offering solutions to problems men didn’t know they needed.
Today we continue to expand our international grooming arsenal, and hold fast to the disruptive DNA and irreverent humor that catapulted us to fame. Our global expansion and presence in tens of thousands of retail stores are testaments to our commitment to make the hairy globe a little smoother.
Stop wasting time not working for us and come join the club!

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a Lead Brand Designer to take our brand storytelling to the next level. This role goes beyond design execution—it’s about shaping the visual narrative of Dollar Shave Club through strategic campaigns, bold creative thinking, and close collaboration with copywriters and marketers.
You’ll be responsible for concepting and executing breakthrough brand and performance campaigns that span digital, social, packaging, and retail. You’ll work alongside Creative Directors, writers, and strategists to bring big, punchy ideas to life—and guide junior designers while you do it. If you’re fluent in both design systems and storytelling arcs, know how to make a scroll-stopping ad or a thumb-tapping carousel, and thrive in a fast-moving, no-BS environment, we want to meet you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design holistically for brand campaigns from concept through execution, developing visuals that communicate bold, cohesive ideas across platforms and translating strategy into beautiful, effective creative
  • Partner closely with copywriters to co-develop narratives, tone, and look for marketing and brand moments, stepping in to support light copywriting needs when quick-turn content is required
  • Help drive the visual identity forward, helping evolve and refine the DSC brand system in ways that scale but surprise
  • Mentor and inspire junior designers, giving feedback that sharpens both concept and craft.
  • Contribute to the development of creative briefs and campaign concepts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Growth, Product, and Retail to ensure consistency and impact
  • Present creative thinking and rationale clearly and confidently to stakeholders
  • Stay plugged into industry trends, especially in DTC, grooming, lifestyle, and design-forward brands
