Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

On the Office of the Customer team, we are experts in how customers’ engage with Kroger, what internal and external elements drive their choices, and develop a point of view on how their choices will evolve over the next 2, 5, and 10 years.
The Customer Strategy team leads Enterprise thinking about which customers are most important to Kroger, what needs shape perception of their shopping experience today, and what needs will be increasingly important in the future. Through rigorous analysis and compelling storytelling, we build consensus on customer priorities and enable the organization to action. This group works with teams across 84.51° and Kroger to understand and embed these priorities into strategy and innovation.
Your primary stakeholders will include senior leadership at 84.51° and Kroger, ranging all functions and levels. This is a fast-paced and high visibility team; we frequently need to shift priorities to respond to the needs of the business.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

On the Office of the Customer team, you will drive profitable growth at Kroger through customer-centric strategic consulting & insights that influence decisions, improve the customer experience & innovate for evolving needs. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop content and insights supporting the Customer Growth Targets, strategic groups of customers. Content will enable Kroger strategy and engage the total Kroger organization.
  • Manage relationship with executive leaders and 84.51° and Kroger and be a strong advocate for customer centric strategy and strategy-enablement.
  • Own implementation strategy and change management plan for customer growth targets.
  • Partner with data science to develop growth target segments and enhance Engagement Element and CLV capabilities.
  • Own insight projects that leverage data representing the holistic customer experience including behavioral, satisfaction/attitudinal, and operational measures.
  • Be an expert in many data sources including: customer transaction data (card data), Market Share, Receipt Panel, Consumer Research, Kantar, Mintel and many other 3rd party partners.
  • Help respond to needs of the business with quick-turn insights and proactive thought leadership that drive decisions across the business and build trust with stakeholders.
