VANCOUVER | HYBRID OPPORTUNITY

Operto Guest Technologies is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lead, Business Development to lead and expand our business growth initiatives. This strategic leader will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, forging strong partnerships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a strong background in business development, sales strategy, and relationship management within the technology / hospitality industry.

Role Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, verticals, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead end-to-end deal cycles, from prospecting and negotiation to contract execution and onboarding.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Success to align market feedback with go-to-market strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners, industry stakeholders, and enterprise-level clients.
  • Represent Operto at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and thought leadership.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to the executive team.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is an asset.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and revenue targets in B2B SaaS or hospitality technology.
  • Strong network within the hospitality, travel, or technology sectors is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
