The Publix Accounting Automation & AI Team tackles challenges in automating complex processes and creating AI agents for repetitive tasks. As a Lead Business Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with enterprise teams to evaluate business processes, assess system and automation requirements, and work with developers to design innovative solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes and gather requirements for enterprise technology solutions, focusing on workflow efficiency, regulatory compliance, and process improvement.
• Lead and participate in application requirements meetings using Agile and traditional methodologies.
• Create comprehensive documentation for business workflows, system requirements, and desired outcomes.
• Mentor analysts on best practices for business and system process analysis.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned applications.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for system validation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in a business systems analysis role.
• 5+ years managing solution delivery in large-scale distributed environments.
• 3+ years with enterprise database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Knowledge of Automation and AI methods (Robotic Process Automation, Agentic AI, Machine Learning).
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience in Agile environments using Azure DevOps.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 9+ years in business systems analysis experience.
• 9+ years planning, organizing, and managing solution delivery in large-scale distributed environments.
• 9+ years leading implementation solutions, addressing bottlenecks, and managing timelines.
• Knowledge of modern cloud infrastructures (Azure, Google).
• Experience in data analysis, including creating and executing queries, interpreting results, and communicating findings.
• Experience in project and problem management, change management, and other systems development processes.
• Skilled in supporting data and process governance for accounting system compliance with company policies, standards, and SOX requirements.
