ABOUT US

Our purpose is simple: to save lives at sea. 24 hours a day, every day, RNLI lifesavers are ready to launch to the rescue. We are known as a lifeboat and lifeguard service, famous for heroic acts of courage, but we’re more than a rescue organisation. We influence, supervise and educate people too. Increasingly, we are helping people to stay safe on the water. To do this, our teams need a dedicated, professional, and talented team behind them, and that’s where you come in. This is your chance to join that team and help save lives every day.
We are currently looking for a Lead Business Systems Analyst to join our Applications and Governance team. The role contributes to saving lives at sea by maintaining and optimising our Business Systems so they continue to make our processes easier and cost effective.

Responsibilities

The RNLI is undertaking a programme of work to upgrade its Microsoft AX Dynamics ERP estate to a modern technology landscape including Microsoft D365. Ongoing updates and support will be required to our business systems, old and new, during that period, and we are looking for a Lead Business Systems Analyst to keep our systems fit for purpose during this transition and develop our future support model as we move towards Software as a Service.
This role is the technical specialist that manages the Business Applications team, delivering support and solutions to assigned business areas primarily in relation to AX, but increasingly also in support of other business software. It will involve working with partners and internal customers to troubleshoot applications and software issues, oversee releases and deliver in-house end-user guidance and changes while the organisation transitions to the new landscape.
