EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of residential carpentry experience (post-apprenticeship or equivalent).
• Leadership or lead hand experience on residential projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt on site.
• Valid G driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
• Someone who works hard, cares about doing things right, and wants to keep getting better at their craft.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a skilled Lead Carpenter who can work with their hands while guiding others. This role is part builder, part leader: you’ll execute framing to finishing with precision, keep jobsites safe and clean, and help bring out the best in your crew. The right person takes pride in details, solves problems before they slow things down, and is open to teaching and learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform advanced carpentry: framing, structural, and installs. Champion quality finishes with tiling, flooring, trim, drywall, and painting.
• Read and follow drawings, ensuring work meets code and project specs.
• Lead crews and subcontractors, keeping the team productive, respectful, and safe.
• Protect client property, maintain clean sites, and follow safety policies.
• Communicate with project managers, trades, and clients in a professional, friendly way.
