JOB DESCRIPTION

The position of lead carpenter involves leading crew members of varying skills on different projects .The ideal candidate must have knowledge of how to do layout for projects ranging from formwork to framing and finishing as well as structural renovation work.Lead Carpenters must have minimum 10 years experience in the construction industry with proven references from previous employers .Knowledge of basic BC Building Code 2018 is a plus.The ideal candidate must be able to read Engineering and Architectural Drawings ,would be required to direct the crew for their daily duties , accept deliveries of materials and do take offs , work in a safe manner and liase with clients and sub-trades .Daily reporting and time-keeping for the projects are also required .
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $66,855.00-$84,993.00 per year
