FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Koalaty Construction is a fast-growing company the services Ottawa and surrounding areas. We are seeking a motivated and skilled lead carpenter to join our team.

SKILLS AND ITEMS YOU NEED:

· Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in residential framing, with a solid background in a leadership or supervisory role.
· In-depth understanding of framing methods, construction standards, and local building regulations.
· Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, architectural drawings, and project specifications to ensure precise and efficient construction.
· Proven ability to perform well in high-pressure environments, managing multiple deadlines without compromising on quality or attention to detail.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a practical approach to resolving on-site challenges.

· Must possess appropriate safety gear, including steel-toe boots and a hard hat.

• Basic pouch with hand tools (framing hammer, tape measure, speed square, chalk line and utility knife).
• Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence.
• WHMIS Certificate and Working at Heights Training.
