The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter that will take ownership of the assigned project to help us meet our client’s needs. Placing a high priority on the ability to plan and execute on the job, the Lead Carpenter supports the Project Manager as “boots on the ground” by coordinating and completing day-to-day construction on assigned projects and communicating progress with the team via our Mobile App. As a leader on site, the Lead Carpenter has the knowledge to help coach teammates to develop their carpentry and renovation skills.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination for assigned Projects:
  • Know and understand project plans and schedules.
  • Plan material and personnel needs.
  • Update project status via a Mobile App.
  1. Site Leadership:
  • Executes on deliverables assigned by the PM, ensuring the site team meets the assigned timelines.
  • Positive and motivating leadership style – we like to have fun on the job!
  • Proactive communication to the team and the Project Manager.
  1. Site Management:
  • Supervises subtrades where necessary
  • Monitors site safety.
  • Responsible for the security and preparation of company tools and equipment.
  1. Carpentry:
  • Is looked up to on site for their high level of craftsmanship.
  • Coaches the site team to help develop their skills.
  • Requests help/guidance from the PM when necessary
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Proactively monitors quality throughout the project.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ Years Residential Framing experience
  • 4+ Years Trim/Finish Carpentry experience
  • Tech Savvy with a willingness to use a Mobile App to communicate progress daily
  • Organized with strong Time Management and Planning skills
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety and building codes
  • High standard of quality and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and people skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
