JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter for custom home construction in Vancouver, Burnaby and the North Shore. The current project is a custom home in West Vancouver. The candidate will possess a strong background in precise framing, including hand cut roofs. Strong interior and exterior finishing skills are equally important.
The candidate must be a self-starter and have the ability to direct other team members in carpentry and general construction tasks. No smoking/vaping on site.
Capacity to work well with others and a generally positive attitude is critical, as is a responsible attitude towards work including punctuality.
Personal transportation hand tools and tools are required.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in quality custom carpentry
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics.
• Ability to perform takeoffs for carpentry materials accurately based on project requirements.
• Experience in supervising teams while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about the construction industry and possess the necessary skills to lead projects from start to finish.
