Responsibilities

I. PURPOSE OF JOB:

-
Perform duties related to Central Supply department including receiving, inventory control and distribution of supplies, equipment and linen to all areas of the hospital.

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

-
1. Maintains adequate inventories of patient care supplies on exchange and dressing carts using the bar-code system.
2. Completes related paperwork for data processing.
3. Delivers supplies throughout the hospital, responding to STAT requests immediately.
4. Assists manager with inventory maintenance.
5. Oversees Central Supply department associates and functions.
