Under Armour is seeking a Lead Channel Merchandiser to support the strategic (Fraser’s Group/SD) and focus accounts in UK and Ireland for the EMEA region. The Channel Merchant will be a key member of the merchandising function reporting into the Senior Merchandising Manager of Channel Merchandising for Wholesale. This position is responsible for the growth and development of the merchandising strategy for the strategic and focus accounts in these regions, in line with the long-term goals for the region. Core responsibilities include seasonal assortment building, translating business objectives and analysis into actions, and identifying future season opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator with strong collaboration skills, with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in merchandising. The individual will likely have experience in a well-regarded consumer products company, a professional / personal involvement with both apparel and footwear and is familiar with the UK market dynamics, needs and trends. The individual will be expected to develop relationships and connections across multiple functions including sales, marketing, and planning.
