Description
Lab Management & Maintenance: Manage and maintain the Environmental Test Labs (ETL-1, ETL-2, & ETL-3) and the Client Development Lab, ensuring their operational readiness for Windows Platform Updates (WPU) processes, patch testing, application testing, automated testing, and remote desktop services. Additionally, maintain the Ford Credit Remote Desktop Room for Ford Credit teams. Client Platform Update & Patch Management: Oversee the processes for monthly PC client updates (Windows Platform Updates) and manage the testing and deployment of emergency patches and updates for critical security vulnerabilities across Ford Credit client environments. Software & Application Testing: Conduct SCCM/Intune application and package testing, including pilot testing new Windows images, imaging processes, and Windows patches and updates. Facilitate software packaging reviews and monthly release reviews for content distributed to Ford Credit Windows clients. Proof of Concept & Large-Scale Testing: Conduct proof of concept testing for new and emerging software within the Ford Credit environment and coordinate large-scale testing of all Ford Credit applications for operating system and system upgrades. Advanced Client Support: Provide 3rd level client platform support for Windows imaging, application software, and network services for Ford Credit centers and the Central Office. Assist users in connecting to remote machines for testing and support the daily operations of remote desktops for various groups, including SAS System, Verint Global Call Recording, GDIA Credit NA, Contact Center call routing, Modernization Office, OGC, and Command Center. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interact closely with application teams, support areas, and business teams to coordinate testing efforts, provide testing support, and perform root cause analysis for issues identified during testing. Collaborate with Ford Client Development, Ford Client Hardware, Ford Client Applications, and Ford Cyber Security teams to ensure Ford Credit adheres to Ford standards and best practices. Project Management & Security: Provide project management for larger initiatives as needed and maintain security groups for access to both physical and virtual lab resources. Subject Matter Expertise: Maintain subject matter expertise in technology infrastructure, equipment, and systems, including information security and governance, to ensure the continuous improvement and security of client platforms.
