JOB DESCRIPTION

The Lead Cloud Architect/Engineer is responsible for overseeing and supporting operations and maintenance across multiple enclaves, platforms, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for software validation, system configurations, upgrades, software development, testing, deployment, and project management in collaboration with government stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities

Software Development & Maintenance

  • Software Development & Maintenance:
  • Validate software versions and configurations, recommending and implementing upgrades and enhancements.
  • Lead software development, testing, versioning, and deployment efforts for program applications.
  • Work with government stakeholders to establish approved development methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps for software maintenance and enhancements.
  • Ensure all software modifications meet customer expectations through technical reviews and stakeholder engagements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related Engineering discipline (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, including web-based distributed environments.
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical projects, including cost, schedule, and personnel oversight.
  • Expertise in software development with proficiency in Java, JavaScript, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, AJAX, HTML, XML, and related technologies.
  • Experience with cloud environments and DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks (ITILv4 Strategist Direct, Plan and Improve or ITIL 4 Specialist Create, Deliver and Support required)
  • Strong background in software configuration management, change management, and software deployment processes.
  • Cyber Security Workforce Information Assurance Manager, minimum level II (CSWF IAM II/III)

Skills Required:

  • Experience in government contract environments, particularly within DoD/Navy projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile and DevSecOps frameworks.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
