Notified is adding a Senior Cloud Platform Administrator to the global technology team in Toronto. Our expectation at this time is you will work from our office, located at 155 University Avenue on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with flexibility to work from home on Monday and Friday.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field required, or equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • Industry relevant certifications are highly desired

EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years of systems engineering/systems administration experience required.
  • 5+ years of proficient AWS
  • 5+ years of managing Puppet modules & manifests
  • 5+ years of managing complex CI/CD workflows
  • 4+ years Kubernetes, Docker & EKS
  • 4+ years Infrastructure as Code (laC) via Terraform
  • 3+ years JFrog Artifactory
  • Agile (Scrum/Kanban/PI Planning) environment
  • Version Control Systems (Git and GitHub Enterprise)
  • Confidently articulate and present ideas during meetings
  • Important to be self-motivated, technically curious and used to collaborating within a globalTeam

Responsibilities
  • Management & maintenance of cloud service providers, primarily AWS, but also Azure & GCP for our internal customers.
  • Deployment & maintenance of CI/CD Tools, including Jenkins, Artifactory, Puppet, Ansible.
  • Maintenance of complex Jenkins Pipelines.
  • Creating & maintaining Puppet Modules / manifests.
  • Management of GitHub Cloud Enterprise
  • Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Terraform, including Terraform Modules & Providers.
  • Creation & maintenance of EKS Clusters and containerized applications using ArgoCD.
  • Integration of IDP / SSO applications.
  • Cost management & optimization of cloud resources.
  • Collaboration, support & training of internal customers.
  • Consultation & collaboration with InfoSec with regards to security and vulnerability management.
  • Scripting with Bash, Python, etc.
  • Create & maintain centralized log forwarding via Datadog.
  • Support of the full meshed routing between cloud providers.
  • Maintenance of Linux golden image.
  • Participation in the on-call schedule.
  • Mentor & collaboration with team members.
  • Troubleshooting a wide range of services.
