REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or similar areas
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers
  • Preference given to holders of CISSP, CEH, or CISM certificates
  • Hands-on familiarity with security instruments like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical competencies
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, swift-paced setting while handling multiple responsibilities
  • Demonstrated background in project management, orchestrating workflows, and refining corporate methods
  • Availability to work within US EST business hours
  • Fluent English communication competencies at a B2+ level
Responsibilities
  • Establish, improve, and uphold stringent security guidelines, norms, and methods
  • Effectively handle and categorize cybersecurity-related inquiries among several teams
  • Enhance and scrutinize automation scripts and instruments, primarily using Python, to optimize security functions
  • Set and apply access control frameworks consistent with the concepts of minimal privilege and task segregation
  • Maintain compliance with standards and support both internal and external audits
  • Continuously observe and evaluate security indicators to pinpoint improvement opportunities and devise enhancement strategies
  • Team up with different divisions to embed security within development and operational routines boosting the overall security stance
