We’re looking for an experienced Lead CNC Machinist & Programmer to help expand capacity and elevate production. If you’re a highly skilled machinist who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and wants to make a direct impact, this is the role for you. Job Description Program, set up, and operate complex CNC milling and turning jobs (3-, 4-, and 5-axis). Work on prototype and low-volume parts that require creativity, precision, and adaptability. Design fixtures, select tooling, and develop efficient machining strategies. Inspect parts to tight aerospace-level tolerances and ensure first-article success. Mentor and support junior machinists to help build technical depth within the team. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and shop efficiency. Qualifications Expert-level CNC machining experience, able to work from drawing/CAD to finished part. Proven success in tight-tolerance machining; aerospace or defense background strongly preferred. Strong CAM programming skills using platforms such as NX, Mastercam, Fusion 360, or GibbsCAM (Siemens NX is a plus). Deep understanding of fixturing, tooling, speeds/feeds, and prototype problem-solving. Solid grasp of quality control standards, inspection tools, and best practices. Self-directed, organized, and collaborative with strong communication skills. Additional Information Pay: Starting at $45/hr with opportunities for rapid growth.
