PARTNER WITH THE BEST

We are seeking a highly motivated person with a strong scientific background and experience in coating technologies. The main responsibility in the Compatibility & Coating Solution Team will be the development of new coating/surface modification technologies, the definition of internal standards for coating processes, the qualification of external suppliers, resolution of non-conformities in coating processes. In this role he/she will collaborate with internal and external cross functional teams, from an early research phase (lab-scale) to the full technology deployment step.

  • The Lead Engineer or Scientist supports development through individual and teamwork.
  • This level also requires the application of knowledge of materials, tools, processes, and products to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
  • At this level, the employee must have a fundamental understanding of their work area and basic knowledge of products/applications upstream and downstream of their work area.
  • Materials Science is an interdisciplinary field involving the study, characterization, and qualification of different types of materials and their practical applications to products.
  • It combines elements of applied physics and chemistry, as well as mechanical engineering. Materials science and materials engineering are often combined and grouped into a single, broader, applied field of study.
  • Coordinates expertise in one or more engineering and science disciplines across the technology project portfolio, assuring rigor is applied through the design and development processes.
  • Ensures needed personnel skills and expertise are in place across the organization for the discipline.
