We are looking for a Lead Code Sensei to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. In this position, you will be the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas center. You will oversee the students’ engagement and learning at Code Ninjas. Do you have a passion for technology and enjoy working with children? This could be the role for you.

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage a room full of children and Code Senseis
• Tech savvy including some programming knowledge
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Fun, positive, outgoing demeanor
• Ability to work 20-30 hrs per week, available for shifts M-F 2pm-8pm, Sat 8:30-2:30p

• Key-holding and opening or closing of the center at Director’s request
• Coordinating activities in the dojo
• Coaching and mentoring Code Senseis
• Engaging with students to facilitate learning experience
• Managing the front desk as requested by the Director
• Engaging with parents in the Director’s Absence
• Creating a positive, fun, and safe environment in which students learn and grow
• Understanding the curriculum and technology tools
• Assure facility cleanliness
• Report regularly to Center Director on student progress, issues, initiatives
