Description Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Lead HVAC Installer to manage and perform installations of residential and commercial HVAC systems. This hands-on role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: Lead and assist in the installation of HVAC equipment, components, ductwork, and controls per manufacturer specs and local codes Install and handle high/low voltage wiring and mechanical hookups Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job documentation Provide on-site installation, startup, and basic troubleshooting as needed Train and mentor junior technicians and apprentices Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, and proper use of PPE Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors regarding project status and technical requirements Complete work orders in FieldPoint, including notes, materials, and time tracking Provide occasional phone support for troubleshooting or technical assistance Learn and apply HVAC control basics for adjusting system operations Attend scheduled team meetings and training seminars Drive company vehicles safely and maintain equipment and tools Maintain and submit accurate daily timesheets via email Environmental and Physical Conditions Conditions are typical exposure to weather conditions and require a high level of physical activity. Referral Program Requirements Job Requirements: 8+ years of HVAC installation experience (residential and/or commercial) EPA certification required; NATE certification a plus Strong knowledge of HVAC codes, safety standards, and installation techniques Proven ability to read and interpret technical documents and lead installation crews Must be able to lift 80+ lbs using proper technique Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, or lifts and in confined spaces Comfortable with physical tasks such as standing, bending, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods Exposure to outdoor weather, dust, chemicals, and moderate-to-loud noise Must wear required PPE and follow safety protocols at all times Dependable attendance and punctuality (typically 7:00 AM–4:00 PM) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
