Responsibilities

Wells Fargo is seeking a is Lead Commercial Mortgage Loan Administration Specialist to support our Real Estate Securitization and Capital Markets (RESCM) team.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with our deal team, borrower team, outside counsel, and third-party vendors to obtain documents necessary for closing, and review loan documents to ensure they incorporate the deal terms
  • Coordinate with our internal flood team to satisfy applicable laws and internal procedures related to the Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA)
  • Work with our insurance vendor and outside counsel to complete the insurance review and approval
  • Work with our zoning vendor and outside counsel to complete zoning review and approval
  • Facilitate closing processes including draft settlement statement, review of title company statement, coordinate with title, and manage and complete the closing workbook in MS Excel
  • Collaborate with asset managers, counsel, and flood to document and book loan extensions, modifications, and future fundings
  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals, may lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor
  • Accurately evaluate and upload data into the systems of record to ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with RESCM peers, colleagues, and managers accountable for providing quality customer service to internal or external customers and achieving line of business goals
