We are seeking an experienced Lead – ConnectDirect, Axway CFT & Secure Transport to join our team in Montreal. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting IBM Sterling ConnectDirect, Axway Transfer CFT, and Axway Secure Transport environments. You will also handle escalated incidents, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with external partners to ensure smooth and secure data transfers.
This is a senior-level position suited for someone with strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on product expertise, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years relevant to file transfer administration
• Hands-on expertise with IBM Sterling ConnectDirect, Axway Transfer CFT, and/or Secure Transport
• Experience with L3 production support, patching, and migrations
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Capital Markets or Financial Services domain knowledge
• ITIL knowledge (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
• Experience with Control-M, MQSeries, or NetBackup
• Scripting skills in Shell or Python

• Configure, implement, and support at least two of the following: IBM Sterling ConnectDirect, Axway Transfer CFT, Axway Secure Transport
• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and design appropriate solutions
• Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and ensure service levels are met
• Work with vendors and external partners on issue resolution and new implementations
• Support patching, upgrades, and disaster recovery procedures
• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Contribute to improving and stabilizing the environment
