The opportunity
We are seeking a Lead Consultant Metallurgist to join out Minerals and Metals team, to lead our extractive metallurgy service offering, supported by our team of junior to intermediate process engineers. This role will lead our technical metallurgical offering within this segment, and will also work in partnership with our client relationship managers as part of our sales zipper to demonstrate market capability and secure new projects.
This role can be located in either our Melbourne or Brisbane offices.
About you
With a process / metallurgical background, you will have prior experience in process debottlenecking, plant modifications, flowsheet development, and the ability to lead front end process development of studies into implementation. You will have a proven track record of influencing, navigating, and achieving outcomes within complex organisations. The selected candidate must have prior experience working in a consulting, and leading a leveraged service offering using junior engineers and designers. Prior experience working with Gold, Copper, Lead, Zinc and/or Nickel will be highly valued, as will any site or operational experience.
