The Boeing Order Management and Procurement team is seeking a Lead Contracting Procurement Agent (Level 3). This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services BGS Supply Chain - Long Term Contracting. This position will support our Order Management team. The Order Management team creates and develops request for proposals based on a set of requirements, solicits the supply base for compliant long term proposals, negotiates acquisition costs and ensures on time delivery of aerospace hardware. This team is also responsible for order placement, adjustments and cancellations as required to support the business in Dallas, TX or Seattle, WA.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Dallas, TX or Seattle, WA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):

  • Less than 2 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes.
  • Less than 2 years of experience in Negotiations.
  • Less than 2 years of experience working in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Able to travel 10% of the time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience in contracts and proposals.
  • Experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations.
  • Experience negotiating price and schedule with customers.
  • Experience using SAP software.

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
  • The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills.
  • Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.
  • Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
  • Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
  • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.
  • Spares pricing and lead-time negotiations.
  • Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customer’s requirements.
