Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible. Job Description: Lead, Contracts Doha, Qatar Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead, Contracts Specialist to join our team! In this role you will prepare and assist with Corporate and Buildings related project contracts, ensuring alignment with respective project's need. What You Will Be Doing: Carry out the evaluate and agree all variations, change orders or concession requests with the contractor/consultant, and prepare submissions together with the contractor/consultant, and prepare submission together with respective requesting department to concerned Tenders Committee for approval. Prepare financial statements during the period of the contract detailing the financial position for the assigned departments. Undertake contract related processes and monitor contract progress, Monitor the work of the awarded contractor/consultant/stakeholder by liaising with the respective department, to ensure compliance with the contract. Take actions/escalate when the contract is not being adhered to. Review disputes with contractors related to project procurement/contracts Negotiate and recommend best way forward to resolve disputes to ensure mutual satisfaction of both parties. Prepare and assist with project-related contracts ensuring alignment with respective project's needs. Other duties: Prepare timely and accurate MIS statements and reports. Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance What Required Skills You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar discipline / Other related Contract Certifications preferred 7+ years of experience in a similar position, covering Infrastructure projects, particularly within the Real Estate environment Extensive experience in awarding and managing Infrastructure contracts Expert knowledge of Infrastructure tendering and contracts processes commercial, technical, and legal Specific knowledge of local Infrastructure contract laws and other applicable contractual terms What Desired Skills You Will Bring Excellent communication and interpersonal management skills Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills Strong understanding of management processes, tools, and techniques Ability to manage time and prioritize work efficiently Adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with users (Project Managers, Contract Management) and suppliers/contractors Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
