Life Treatment Centers offer a residential program comprised of continuing care, outpatient therapy, substance use prevention and education, and after care. We are currently searching for a positive, self-motivated, and dedicated full-time Lead Cook to support our work by providing healthy and nutritious meals throughout the day.

QUALIFICATIONS

• ServSafe Manager Certification (required)
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School (preferred) OR
• 6 months to 1 year of related cooking/food service experience (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license (required)

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to menus, schedules, and dietary needs.
• Plan menus and meal plans that meet regulatory and grant requirements.
• Safely handle, label, store, and rotate food products (including donated USDA and community items).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area in compliance with health regulations.
• Direct kitchen helpers and oversee persons served in daily chores.
• Unload, stock, and restock food deliveries and donations.
• Complete required paperwork and daily kitchen checklists accurately and on time.
• Drive agency van to pick up food donations from community partners.
• Treat persons served with dignity and respect, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
