JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Team Lead Cook to join our team at a vibrant, new neighborhood restaurant in Denver. This role is ideal for an experienced culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality dishes. The Lead Cook will oversee kitchen operations, assist in menu development and execution, and ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in breakfast and food preparation. As a Team Lead Cook, you will play a crucial role in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your expertise in culinary techniques, recipes, and food handling will help guide the kitchen staff in producing high-quality meals.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a breakfast or casual dining setting.
Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food handling and kitchen equipment use.
Leadership Ability: Experience leading a kitchen team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Time Management: Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Health & Safety Knowledge: Understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation practices.
Flexibility: Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Culinary degree preferred but not required
