Job Details Job Location: Memphis - Memphis, TN 38141 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: 2nd Shift/ Evening Premium Guard Inc is excited to announce that we’re hiring a Distribution Inventory Control Team Leader for our Memphis, Tennessee distribution center. The Inventory Team Leader will report to the Inventory Supervisor and lead a team of hourly associates Key Responsibilities Executes cycle counting parameters such as count frequency vs. ABC classification Support all audit and quality functions for Inbound and Outbound operations Experience in establishing, measuring and reporting relevant inventory accuracy KPIs Effective communication and collaboration with Supply Chain, Accounting and Management teams Effective in inventory discrepancy root cause analysis for quality related errors such as stocking, replenishment and customer discrepancies Maintain, correct, and develop bin sizing to reflect item velocity, replenishment requirements and assign pick bins to new items. Establish Min/Max stock levels for primary bins Work closely with Receiving to ensure accurate inventory receipt and storage Ability to effectively lead and mentor the Inventory Control team members Research and reconcile customer discrepancies, which will involve inventory counts Maintain customer discrepancy database Track assigned CARs for timely completion Develop or update work instructions as required Other projects as assigned Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to handle and prioritize multiple activities Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint with emphasis on Excel Experience using warehouse management systems Must have good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively in English Ability to instruct, direct, and lead a team of hourly associates. Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. Solid organizational and communication skills. Ability to access, input and analyze computer data and reports. Education and Experience Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and RF Equipment. Minimum of 3 years of prior warehouse experience.
Responsibilities
